Secret Hideout — FiveM MLO

Looks like a phone repair shop. It isn't.

Down an alley in South Los Santos, an old steel door leads to a phone repair shop. Behind it there's a workshop, and behind the workshop a technical room with a lever hidden on the side of an electrical cabinet. Pull it and a steel hatch opens in the floor: a ladder down to an underground base you set up five ways.

Highlights

  • A hatch every player sees the same way – two levers, at the top and the bottom of the shaft, pulled with an animation other players see. The server owns the state. The hatch closes by itself after 45 s (configurable) and waits while someone is in the shaft (OneSync).
  • Five setups, one basement – Blackhat (the NULLBYTE crew's hacker den), Meth, Coke, Weed, and Empty: bare and lit, for your own build.
  • Switch it live – smlo_variant meth in the server console, or exports.secret_mlo:setVariant('meth') from another script. Players near the MLO see the change on the spot: no restart, nobody reconnects.
  • A crew at work – six people in each furnished setup (cooking, cutting, sorting buds, typing, a guard by the shaft), plus someone behind the counter and in the workshop. Ambient only: they don't react and can't be hurt. On or off per setup in config.lua.
  • 9 rooms on two underground levels – entrance, shop, restroom with a working mirror, workshop, storeroom and technical room; downstairs the shaft room, a middle room with a cage and a camera room, and the hall.
  • Floor plan of each level on the radar and the pause map.
  • Your rules for the lever – server/permissions.lua is open, with commented examples for an ace, an ESX job, a QBCore job and an ox_inventory item.
  • Standalone – no framework needed.

Requirements

  • Game build 3717 or newer (sv_enforceGameBuild 3717).
  • OneSync recommended: the server checks that the player is next to the lever and that nobody is in the shaft when the hatch closes. Without OneSync it still runs and skips both checks.

Owner Edition

Delivered to your Cfx.re account through Asset Escrow, once Tebex confirms the payment. Open and editable: config.lua, locales/, server/permissions.lua, shared/ambience.lua and the two game files of the building.

Good to know

  • It's an MLO: the setups are dressing. No drug or hacking gameplay is included. Your scripts can read GlobalState.smlo_variant, for example to start a job only when the lab is there.
  • The security screens show pre-rendered images of the MLO, one set per setup.
  • The street door works because the resource ships the game's own sc1_00b_bld2.ydr and lr_sc1_00b_0.ybn with that door cut out. If another resource on your server replaces them too, keep one copy (the README explains how).
  • 1,088 entities, 574 at once with Blackhat. One texture dictionary: 66 textures, 7.2 MB.
